VP of Marketing Serge Gojkovich Departs Grindr / Blendr, Launches the ZaPamti Agency Specializing in Mobile App Marketing
Serge Gojkovich, former vice president of marketing at Grindr and Blendr, today announced his company departure and unveils the launch of his new agency, ZaPamti (pronounced "za-pom-tee"), providing a full range of services specifically tailored to startup apps and companies looking to tap into the mobile market. Utilizing a robust network of more than 50 established copywriters, designers, and developers, ZaPamti offers marketing, creative, public relations, media buying, social media and technical resources designed to introduce new and old brands to the mobile space.
Gojkovich, who left his country of Serbia with his parents and brother when he was only 1 year old, named his firm ZaPamti after the Serbo-Croatian word for “remember.” ZaPamti’s essential mission is to provide stellar brand identity-building and other marketing/PR services for clients who wish to launch new apps, migrate their websites to mobile or just make a splash in niche communities such as the LGBT market.
After heading Grindr’s marketing department for three years and taking the mobile gay dating app from 500,000 to over 6 million users and counting, Gojkovich has decided to return to his entrepreneurial roots to launching his own agency. . Previous to Grindr, Gojkovich founded Boston-based GCI Marketing and ran the firm for eight years. At GCI, he helped London and numerous other clients reach the gay market in the United States and become No. 1 brands in their respective categories.
